A merry mix of melody, mayhem, and mania! In the tradition of the hard-boiled gumshoes of the 1940’s, Lucky dollar, Private Eye, is he-man tough, a magnet for “dames”, and…perpetually broke. His case for client Pandora Sugarland, leads him to the search for a missing gem, “The Pearl of Persia”. In the course of his investigation, he encounters such characters as Earthquake Debris, Lieutenant Brush Mohair, Detective Babs Doyle, Joe Weasel, Montrose Hogsbreath, Chartreuse the Chanteuse, and The Kimono, among others. Despite nefarious attempts to prevent him from succeeding, Lucky solves the case with the help of Florence, his loyal Girl Friday (and secret admirer.) This production features the musical and acting talents of local area youth.
